1. Services

KEN Mobile Massage provides professional mobile massage therapy. We travel to your location, which may include your home, hotel, office, or other agreed venue within our service area. All sessions are performed by licensed and certified massage therapists.

We bring all necessary equipment including a massage table, fresh linens, oils, and ambient music. You are not required to provide any equipment.

Available service types include Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, couples massage, therapeutic and medical massage, and lymphatic drainage. Specific services are subject to availability and therapist specialisation at the time of booking.

2. Booking and Appointments

Appointments may be booked through the website at kenmobilemassage.com, by phone at (661) 607-4905, or by email. All bookings are subject to availability and are not confirmed until you receive a written or verbal confirmation from us.

You must provide an accurate service address at the time of booking. It is your responsibility to ensure someone is present at the address and ready to receive the therapist at the scheduled time.

Same-day appointments are offered when availability allows. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.

3. Cancellation and Late Cancellation Policy

We require a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a late cancellation fee.

• Cancellations with 24 or more hours notice: no charge.
• Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice: a late cancellation fee may apply, up to the full session rate.
• No-shows (therapist arrives and client is not present or not ready): the full session rate will be charged.

We understand that emergencies happen. Late cancellation fees may be waived at our sole discretion in the case of a documented emergency.

4. SMS and Messaging Terms

Program name: KEN Mobile Massage

Program description: KEN Mobile Massage uses SMS to send one-time verification codes for account login and signup on kenmobilemassage.com. By entering your phone number on this website and proceeding with account creation or login, you consent to receive these transactional SMS messages from KEN Mobile Massage.

Message frequency: Message frequency varies. You will receive one verification code per login or signup attempt. Additional transactional messages related to your bookings may be sent as needed.

Message and data rates may apply. Standard carrier message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

How to opt out: Reply STOP to any SMS message from us to unsubscribe and stop receiving further messages. After opting out, you will receive a one-time confirmation message. You will not receive further messages unless you re-enroll.

How to get help: Reply HELP to any SMS message from us for assistance, or contact us directly at the information below.

Supported carriers: Major US carriers are supported. Carrier availability may vary. We are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages due to carrier conditions.

5. Payment Terms

Payment is due at the time of service unless a deposit or advance payment is required at booking. We accept major credit and debit cards. All card payments are processed securely through Square, Inc. We do not store your full card number.

Prices listed on the website at the time of booking apply to your session. Quoted prices are in US dollars and include the service only. Travel surcharges may apply for locations outside the base service area. Any applicable surcharge will be disclosed before your booking is confirmed.

A deposit may be required for certain bookings including couples massage, corporate events, or large-group sessions. Deposit requirements will be communicated at the time of booking.

6. Service Area

KEN Mobile Massage primarily serves Palmdale, Lancaster, and surrounding communities in the Antelope Valley region of Los Angeles County, California. We also serve select areas in greater Southern California depending on therapist availability and applicable travel rates.

Service availability and travel surcharges vary by location. You can confirm whether your address falls within our service area at the time of booking.

7. Client Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing a safe, clean, and private space for the therapist to set up and perform the session. This includes adequate space for a massage table and reasonable ambient conditions.

• You must disclose any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, or contraindications to massage therapy before your session begins. This includes but is not limited to recent surgeries, skin conditions, blood clots, pregnancy, or cardiovascular conditions.
• You must be at least 18 years of age to book independently. Clients under 18 require written consent from a parent or legal guardian, who must be present throughout the session.
• You must be in a reasonably sober state at the time of your appointment. The therapist has the right to decline service if a client appears to be under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances.
• You agree to treat all therapists with professionalism and respect. Any inappropriate behaviour will result in immediate termination of the session with no refund.
• Pets must be secured away from the service area during the session.

8. Therapist Rights

KEN Mobile Massage therapists reserve the right to refuse or stop service at any time if the environment is unsafe, if the client is behaving inappropriately, or if continuing the session would pose a health or safety risk to either party. In such cases, a refund will not be issued for time already performed.

Therapists will not perform services on areas that are contraindicated by the client's disclosed or apparent health conditions. The therapist's professional judgment regarding contraindications is final.

9. Gift Cards and Session Packages

E-Gift cards and session packages are non-refundable and non-exchangeable for cash. All sales are final.

Gift cards may be redeemed for any available service within their dollar value. Session packages are specific to the session type and duration purchased and cannot be exchanged for a different service type.

Session packages do not expire. Gift card expiration terms, if any, will be stated at the time of purchase.

Packages and gift cards are transferable to another person with our prior approval. To request a transfer, contact us at kenmobilemassagetherapy@gmail.com.

10. Limitation of Liability

KEN Mobile Massage provides professional massage therapy services. We are not a medical provider and do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe for any medical condition. Massage therapy is not a substitute for professional medical care.

To the fullest extent permitted by California law, KEN Mobile Massage's total liability for any claim arising from or related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific session giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services or website.

KEN Mobile Massage is not responsible for damage to property that results from conditions at the service location that were not disclosed to us or that were outside our reasonable control.

11. Health Disclosures and Informed Consent

By booking a session, you confirm that you have disclosed all health conditions, injuries, allergies, and medications that may be relevant to your massage. You accept that massage therapy involves physical contact and that certain effects such as temporary soreness may occur following a session.

If you have any doubt about whether massage is appropriate for your health situation, we recommend consulting your physician before booking. KEN Mobile Massage is not liable for adverse effects resulting from undisclosed health conditions.

12. Website Use

You may use the KEN Mobile Massage website to browse services, create an account, book appointments, and purchase gift cards. You agree not to use the website for any unlawful purpose or in a way that disrupts, damages, or impairs its operation.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

13. Privacy

Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. The Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information, including your phone number and booking data.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our website or services after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify active clients.
